İhsan AKTAŞ Science Committee Member

Ihsan Aktas was born in Bayburt in 1964 and completed his primary and secondary education in Bayburt. Aktas received his bachelor’s degree from Uludag University Faculty of Theology and his master’s degree from Uludag University Institute of Social Sciences, Educational Sciences, and is continuing his doctoral studies at Arel University Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Urbanism. Aktas is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of GENAR Research Company, the Secretary General of the Istanbul City Council Association, a member of the Habitat 3 Preparatory Committee, a member of the Sustainable Cities Consortium, a member of the Scientific Board of the Center for Urban Research, and a writer for the Daily Sabah newspaper. He has published articles on urbanism, sociology and political science.
